Baku hosts conference dedicated to the Russia-Azerbaijan relations in education, science and cultural fields

The Russian Federation’s Education and Science Minister Olga Vasilyeva, who is visiting Azerbaijan, attended the conference entitled “State and prospects of cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan in education, science and cultural fields", organized by the Azerbaijan-Russia Association of Higher Education Institutions. The event brought together state and government officials, representatives of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and rectors of higher schools.

Addressing the event, Azerbaijan's Education Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, spoke of cooperation in the field of education, emphasizing the importance of further expansion of bilateral ties between the two countries.

In turn, Olga Vasilyeva, noted that Russia attaches great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan in all fields, including science and education.
