Books published by Fund of Support to Policy of Turkish Speaking Countries donated to Kyrgyz Academy of Public Administration
Baku, August 29 (AZERTAC). Books published by the Fund of Support to Policy of Turkish Speaking Countries have been donated to the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kyrgyzstan.
Rector of the Academy Chingiz Shamshiyev said at the event on the occasion that relationship between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan was developing rapidly. He particularly underlined the necessity of deepening bilateral cultural cooperation. The rector also stressed the importance of establishment of relations with Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations.
Press secretary of the Azerbaijani embassy in Bishkek Ilkin Abbasaliyev said opportunities for cooperation between the two countries had recently increased. “Several months ago Bishkek hosted a meeting of Azerbaijan- Kyrgyzstan Joint Economic Commission. The visit of Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev to Azerbaijan has given the impetus to development of bilateral relations.”
The chairman of the Fund of Support to Policy of Turkish Speaking Countries, Nusrat Mammadov spoke about the activity of the organization. He said more than 40 books and brochures on Azerbaijan`s history and culture, as well as Nagorno-Karabakh conflict were published by the Fund in Kyrgyz, English and Russian languages.
Chairman of the Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis in Kyrgyzstan said the goal of the organization was to unite Azerbaijani communities, culture centers and foundations around it.
The books donated to the Academy include newly-published three-volume “President Ilham Aliyev”, head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev`s “Gorus-2010: season of absurd theatre”, “The reality of the genocide of Azerbaijani people”, Gafar Aliyev`s “Builder and founder of modern Azerbaijan”, great writer and scientist Mir Jalal`s “Selected works”, “Manifest of a young man” and others.
