CANADA TO ACCEPT 525 AFGHAN REFUGEES

Canadian Government has agreed to accept 525 Afghan refugees settled in Kirghizstan, BBC reported. The resettling will be completed by late 2004. However, 100 more refugees will remain Kirghizstan. R. Colville said that Canadian government weighs the possibility of acceptance of Afghan refugees living in Tajikistan.
