CASPIAN REGION TO CLAIM 25% OF OIL PRODUCTION IN THE NON-OPEC COUNTRIES
A 25% increase of oil production in the non-OPEC countries will fall to the share of the Caspian region, international experts said.
Heavyweight international companies show an increasing interest in Azerbaijan given commissioning of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and Shahdeniz field and quality of the Azerbaijani oil. It was stressed at the forum on Platts methodology held in Baku.
SOCAR representatives attended the event as well.
