Following the report of the CEC chairman on work implemented by the Commission towards administration and conduction of the Presidential Elections on October 15, 2003, the sitting participants considered appeals submitted to the Commission. It was decided to consider part of appeals and referring the rest to the General Prosecutor’s office.

Then, the CEC decided to sum up results of the presidential elections and referring the election returns to the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan Republic for approval.

The CEC sitting was attended by representatives of the secretary of the Council of Europe, OSCE Bureau for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, International Fund for Electoral Systems, embassies of US, Great Britain, Turkey, Kazakhstan, local and foreign media.
