    CENTENARY SCHOOL

    The secondary school N1 in the town of Tartar has turned 100. The oldest educational establishment began its activity having just several classrooms; in 1943 it gained the title of secondary school. Once, the school had been directing by late Academician Imam Mustafayev. The total number of its leavers is 3806 including well-known scholars, military men and specialists in different areas. Among them Academician Vahid Gajiyev, Professor Seyfaddin Gandilov, Doctor of medicine Gasan Sultanov, Doctor of Economics Novruz Guliyev and many others.

    Today, the school has 1100 students and 140 teachers. This year, 30 alumni have entered the country’s higher educational establishments.
