    CHINGIZ AYTMATOV TURNS 75

    International film festival ‘Zirva’ in honor of the 75th birthday of Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aytmatov will be held in Bishkek / Kirgizistan/ on November 2003.

    The festival will be organized by National Movie House, State Cinema and Video Company and ‘Kirgizfilm’ studio. Cinematographers of Russia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Tajikistan will be invited to the festival.

    In the frame of film-forum, the movies shot in different countries on Chingiz Aytmatov’s script, symposiums and round- table discussions, as well as exhibitions of Kyrgyz artists to be held.
