COMMEMORATION CEREMONY IN PEKING

On the occasion of the 40th day, after the death of our nationwide leader, President Heydar Aliyev, commemoration ceremony was held in the Embassy of Azerbaijan in People’s Republic of China, on January 18.

Participating in the event were Azerbaijani diplomats in Peking, their family members, Azerbaijani students and citizens of Azerbaijan, now visiting China. Akhund of Peking mosque invited to the ceremony read prayer for the repose of the soul of the genial son of our people, President Heydar Aliyev.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan Republic to China Yashar Aliyev told of the glorious course of life of the great leader of the Turkish world Heydar Aliyev and emphasized his services, which had played invaluable role in the fate of Azerbaijani people.

In conclusion of the ceremony, ehsan was given.
