Construction of the Central and Western Azeri platforms totaling 31 thousand tons has been completed, bp said. Currently, the construction of surface installations continues at the Eastern Azeri platform.

Mainly the Heydar Aliyev Deep Jackets Factory implements construction works at the platform, construction of which is to end next year.

The Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) has started realization of the project on full-scale development of the deposits in October 2002. The Project is evaluated 336 million dollars.
