COUNCIL OF SECURITY OF RUSSIA SATISFIED WITH AZERBAIJAN CO-OP
In the course of two-day visit to Russia, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Vilayat Guliyev met with Russian Security Council Secretary Vladimir Rushaylo.
Mr. Rushaylo expressed deep satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, which were dynamically developing within past time and promotes the strengthening of stability in the Caucasus. The Russian-Azerbaijani relations acquired higher level that became possible due to political will of the Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Heydar Aliyev of Azerbaijan, Mr. Rushaylo stated.
In his turn, Vilayat Guliyev noted that President Ilham Aliyev would continue political course of the independent Azerbaijan, foundation of which was led by titanic work of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. Due to the dialogue of Presidents Heydar Aliyev and Vladimir Putin, the Azerbaijani-Russian relations would acquire higher of the strategic partnership.
The sides also touched on problem of regional security, and discussed situation in Georgia.
