Caspian Energy Club organizes regular Online Round Table

Baku, March 19, AZERTAC

Deputy Chief of the Main Department for Operation and Maintenance of the Azerbaijan Automobile Roads State Agency Hidayat Rustamov has taken part in the traditional Online Round Table organized by the Caspian Energy Club. Topical issues and proposals were discussed in the course of the event, Chairman and CEO of the Caspian Energy Club Telman Aliyev told AZERTAC.

The event began with a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs who fell in the war for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Hidayat Rustamov congratulated everyone on the glorious victory of Azerbaijan in the Patriotic War. He spoke about the activity of the Azerbaijan Automobile Roads State Agency and noted that the agency is engaged in the design, construction and protection of highways in the country. Hidayat Rustamov stressed that along with the territory of the country, the agency has been ordered to perform repair and construction work of the leading roads of the city of Baku.

“In recent years, the Azerbaijan Automobile Roads State Agency has been deeply focused on construction and reconstruction of roads in rural settlements. Over 600-800km of roads undergo reconstruction every year. This directly contributes to the development of agriculture and the rapid delivery of products to major markets. I also would like to note that after the liberation of the territories from occupation, the highways connecting the capital of the republic with the borders of the country will be expanded toward the border with Armenia”, he said.

Then, Hidayat Rustamov listened to the proposals of the participants of the Online Round Table and answered their questions. Telman Aliyev, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Caspian Energy Club, thanked Hidayat Rustamov for the open and sincere dialogue. He also proposed to create a joint bilateral working group between the Azerbaijan Automobile Roads State Agency and the Caspian Energy Club.

It is noteworthy that the bilateral working group makes it possible to hold regular discussions over pressing issues, proposals and problems, and respond to them without delay.
