Cavusoglu: BSEC has addressed a number of issues during Azerbaijan's presidency
Baku, December 14, AZERTAC
“During Azerbaijan's presidency of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), the organization has addressed a number of problems," said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu as he addressed the 39th meeting of the BSEC Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Baku.
Cavusoglu congratulated Azerbaijan on its successful presidency of the organization. The Turkish FM noted that thanks to Azerbaijan's efforts significant progress has been made in the BSEC.
However, he said, the organization needs to undergo reforms and resolve the existing problems. “Turkey attaches great importance to the BSEC. The organization carries out very important tasks together with other institutions. We will continue to make efforts to expand and develop the organization," Cavusoglu added.
