Ceiling panels collapse at Commonwealth Offices in Brisbane

Tokyo, October 25, AZERTAC

Two Federal Government staffers were taken to hospital with minor injuries and a third was treated at the scene after ceiling panels collapsed in the Commonwealth Parliament Offices in Brisbane today, according to ABC news.

The federal Cabinet was meeting on the same level the incident happened, but in a different room.

Inspector Daniel Bragg said three women, two from Brisbane and one from Canberra, had cuts and abrasions, one was suffering from shock and another had an ankle injury.

Two were taken to hospital.
