China’s Peopledaily posts article on Azerbaijani-Russian cooperation

China’s Peopledaily newspaper has published an article on Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation headlined “Russia interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan”.

Referring to Xinhua agency, the article says that Russia is interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in a number of areas including the food market. As the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has met his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Baku the sides discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between the two countries.

President Ilham Aliyev, in turn, said that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia is developing steadily, allowing us to look at the future with optimism.

Relations between our countries are developing very positively and dynamically, the President of Azerbaijan said.

The author reminds that Putin visited Baku to attend the opening ceremony of the first European Games.
