Baku, June 29 (AZERTAC). First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the prestigious Prix de la Foundation (Foundation’s Award) at the plenary session on theme “Women’s rights – human rights, human rights – right of women” as part of the Crans Montana Forum in Baku on June 29.
Founder and Executive Chairman of Crans Montana forum Jean-Paul Carteron addressing the ceremony spoke about many-sided activity of Mehriban Aliyeva.
Director General of ISESCO Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri also praised the activity of the First Lady of Azerbaijan.
Azeri First Lady was presented a Prix de la Fondation award. She thanked the participants for the high award.
The same award was presented to the Chief Adviser to the Human Rights Development and Research Organization Mrs Farida Al-Allagi (Libya).
Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva addressed the session.
Other speakers stressed the importance of making serious efforts to protect the rights of women in the world and promoting gender equality.
