Croatian President visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Baku, March 12 (AZERTAC). President of Croatia Ivo Josipovic and his spouse Tatiana Josipovic have today visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The Croatian leader and his spouse were welcomed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva.

Ivo Josipovic and his spouse were informed about the activity of the Foundation.

The Croatian President was told the main goal of the Foundation, established in memory of the Azerbaijani people`s national leader, is to study and popularize prominent political figure Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, and give an idea to the future generations about his large-scale activity to achieve Azerbaijan`s socio-economic, cultural progress.

President Ivo Josipovic and his spouse Tatiana Josipovic saw photos taken from the archive of the great leader and reflecting various moments of his life and activity.

They also viewed national leader`s photos with figures of science, culture and art, leaders of different countries.

The Croatian President and his spouse signed the Foundation`s Guest Book.

Ivo Josipovic and Tatiana Josipovic were presented with a keepsake.

The Croatian leader and his spouse watched a documentary on the activity of the Foundation.
