DELEGATION OF JAPANESE PARLIAMENT ARRIVED IN BAKU
In a brief interview with AzerTAj correspondent at the airport Bina Shoji Motooka said that it was the first visit of the delegation of the Chamber of Councilors to Azerbaijan had been invited by Milli Majlis Chairman Murtuz Alaskarov. Our countries enjoy good, friendly relationship and this visit will promote further cooperation. During this visit, the delegation will meet with Milli Majlis chairman Murtuz Alaskarov, Prime Minister Ilham Aliyev, members of the parliamentary friendship group with Japan and other officials. I hope to get detailed information of Azerbaijan, he said. “Roots of Plants - Security of Human Being” project is to be signed during the visit, within the frames of the Japanese aid program.
As to the Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict, Mr. Motooka saidl, “We will express our point on this issue after upcoming meetings. We are a friendly country and render economic aid to Azerbaijan. It seems that there will be no discords in our positions on political issues as well”.
The guests were welcomed at the Bina airport by deputy Milli Majlis chairman Ziyafet Askarov, chief of the parliament’s apparatus Safa Mirzoyev, and ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Toshiyuki Fujivara.
