DIASPORA KEEN ON HOLDING FESTIVAL IN GRENOBLE

The State Committee on work with Azerbaijanis residing abroad together with Diaspora representatives considers projects on Azerbaijani culture propaganda.

According to the Committee, the 9th Roktanbul festival will be held in Grenoble, France in October. The organizers invited an active member of Azerbaijani Diaspora in France, founder and leader of the musical band “Gazakh” Fred Gazakhbeyli and Shirvan Mugam trio of Azerbaijan.

F. Gazakhbeyli asked Azerbaijani side to cover the part of expenses for project’s implementation. The total cost of the project, financed by French Association of Cultural Events, embassy of France to Azerbaijan and leadership of Grenoble, exceeds 90 thousand euros.

Now, the State Committee considers the offer to support the project.
