On the base of materials given by the state archives, the National Archive Department of Azerbaijan has issued a guide under the title “State Archives of Azerbaijan Republic”.

The manual published by the Publishing House “Azerbaijan National Encyclopedia” narrates on the work done towards arrangement of the archiving and setting up of state archives and comments the Law of Azerbaijan Republic “On the National Archive Fund”.

The book provides wide information on state archives of Azerbaijan and its branches, State Archive of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, state archives etc.

The readers may learn of the rules of use of state archives, giving of archive references to individuals etc.
