Defense Minister: Azerbaijan-Turkey military cooperation is based on friendly and fraternal bonds

Baku, November 15 (AZERTAC). “Azerbaijan-Turkey military cooperation is based on friendly and fraternal bonds,” said Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov who met Turkish Ambassador Ismayil Alper Cosgun.
Hasanov noted President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev’s official visit to Turkey would contribute to strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
The Minister provided an insight into what had been done in Azerbaijan to expand Military Forces, stressing the importance of the liberation of occupied Azerbaijani lands.
The Minister said Azerbaijan will never agree with the occupation fact.
They also discussed issues of regional and bilateral cooperation.
Turkey's military attaché in Azerbaijan, Brigadier General Hasan Nevzat Tasdeler was present at the meeting.
