Delegation of Korfez District Municipality of Kocaeli visits AZERTAC VIDEO

A delegation of Korfez District Municipality of Turkish Kocaeli Province led by chairman Ismail Baran has today held a meeting at AZERTAC.
Recalling the words of national leader Heydar Aliyev “One nation, two states”, Chairman of the Board of AZERTAC Aslan Aslanov said that brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey have great history. He noted personal friendly ties between presidents Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan. “Our countries enjoy excellent relations in all areas, including in the field of media. AZERTAC and Anadolu Agency have been cooperating for a long time both in bilateral format and within international media organizations, and enjoy broad exchange of information.”
Aslan Aslanov thanked Ismail Baran for his initiative to erect a monument to Khojaly martyrs in the city of Korfez on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, saying this move was welcomed and highly appreciated in Azerbaijan. He also thanked the chairman Korfez District Municipality for assistance to Azerbaijani students.
Ismail Baran underlined that the two fraternal countries have always supported each other, describing relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan as exemplary. Saying that Turkey will never forget the Khojaly genocide, Ismail Baran pointed out that a monument to Khojaly martyrs was erected so that this tragedy is etched on the minds of young generation.
Chairman of the Federation of Turkey-Azerbaijan Associations Bilal Dundar highlighted the work done by the federation to raise the world community`s awareness of the Nagorno-Karabakh realities. He noted that a museum on the genocide and terrorist acts committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis throughout the history operates in Heydar Aliyev Culture House in the city of Kocaeli. Bilal Dundar thanked the leadership of AZERTAC for coverage of the activities of the Federation of Turkey-Azerbaijan Associations.
