“Relations between Azerbaijan and the city of Cannes have a long history. The days of Azerbaijani culture have further enriched this relationship. The Azerbaijani culture days are being held at a time when France marks its national holiday. This is the manifestation of importance we attach to relations with Azerbaijan,” said Deputy Mayor of Cannes Frank Chikli in his interview with AZERTAC.

“This year saw the launch of an exhibition of works by two Azerbaijani artists. This exhibition reflects the two persons’ love and view points,” the deputy mayor said.

Chikli hailed the excellent economic relations between Azerbaijan and France, saying the bilateral ties between the two countries, including between Azerbaijan and Cannes are strengthening.
