ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM TO BE READY FOR WINTER

Repair team of “Azerenergyxususitamirsalama Ltd”. and Mingachevir electric power station began reconstruction works on Mingachevir and Varvara water electric power stations to prepare electric energy field for the upcoming winter season.

According to the press service of the Chief energy department of the Azerbaijan Republic, prophylactic works have been finished in four blocks of Mingachevir power plant. The reconstruction work is in progress in the block N3 and expected to be finished next year.

Reportedly, the block N3 of Varvara electric power plant is now under reconstruction, which is to be finished in late September. After the repair, the capacity of the block will be 5.5 megawatt.
