Incumbent President İlham Aliyev won 82.71 percent of vote in the presidential election held in Azerbaijan on April 11, according to preliminary results of the exit poll conducted by “ELS” Independent Research Center.
Irada Yaqubova, head of “ELS” Independent Research Center, said that the exit poll was held at 300 polling stations of 118 constituencies and the results were summed on the basis of 60,000 questionnaires.
Preliminary results of the exit poll are as follows:
Ilham Heydar oglu Aliyev – 82.71 per cent
Araz Mammad Mubariz oglu Alizade – 1.87 per cent
Hafiz Alamdar oglu Hajiyev – 2.01 per cent
Gudrat Muzaffar oglu Hasanguliyev - 4.23 per cent
Sardar Jalal oglu Mammadov – 3.56 per cent
Razi Gulamali oglu Nurullayev – 0.92 per cent
Zahid Maharram oglu Oruj – 3.37 per cent
Faraj Ibrahim oglu Guliyev – 1.33 per cent
The presidential election in Azerbaijan was monitored by 894 international and 58,175 local observers. Moreover, 1,000 web cameras were installed in 119 constituencies.
