During its regular sitting in July, Europarliament accused Russia of military outrages on Chechnya and ongoing infringement of human rights.The Parliament demanded to launch the work of International Court to investigate “Chechen issue” as soon as possible in order to bring “defendants” and “plaintiffs” to the court. The participants have referred their final decision to the EU Council of Ministers, in which they urged the Council to convoke a special conference pertaining the situation in Chechnya and to attract people of Russia and Chechnya, OSCE representatives, including Council of Europe.
