The announcement of the Embassy of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reads that the newspaper Ash-Sharq al Ausat published the information that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation disproved the announcement published in the Azerbaijani newspaper of Yeni Musavat making reference to “reliable sources” as if the President of Iraq Saddam Hussein was on visit to Azerbaijan on August 28 and then crossed the border to the territory of Russia.
Side by side with this information, the newspaper points out that the Yeni Musavat, as a rule, and mainly now on the eve of the Presidential elections on October 15, issues article full of slander and lies, which are being disproved later.
