EXHIBITION OF WOMEN PAINTERS OPENS

Over 80 works in genres of painting, graphic and applied art have been displayed at the exhibition entitled “Women’s Canvases” organized at the exhibition hall after V. Samedov by Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism and Painters’ Union of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the International Women’s Day – 8th of March.

In their speeches, Chairman of Artists Union Farhad Khalilov, Chairman of the State Committee on women problems Zahra Guliyeva and others spoke on the role women play in all areas of life including development of culture.
