    EXPERTS OF AZERENERGY AND WB DISCUSS JOINT PROJECT

    The World Bank mission led by Chairman of the group for implementation of the energy program in Southern Caucasus Biorn Hamsson is negotiating with the specialists of Azerenergy.

    According to the press service of Azerenergy, the WB is ready to allocate 40 million dollars for the project whose greater part implies renewal of supervisory control system in electric energy sphere and reconstruction of transmitting infrastructures. The Bank has already assigned means for designation of the project consultant. The goal of the present visit is to define areas for allocation of means.

    A tender for determination of the company-consultant is envisaged to be announced before late 2003.
