Egypt Ready To Receive Tourists
Baku, March 11 (AZERTAC). After having faced a mass revolt from its youths in January, the most populous country in the Arab World, Egypt, has
now significantly recovered and is ready to receive tourists again. Egyptian Minister of Tourism, Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour said Egypt had
started its transformation to become a stable, democratic and modern economy following the Youth Revolution from Jan 25 to Feb 11.
In fact, he said, the Egyptian Airlines “Egypt Air” in collaboration with the Malaysian Government was operating 14 shuttle flights from Kuala Lumpur to
Cairo transfer Malaysian students back to the country starting Sunday with the last flight scheduled a the end of the month. "Also my ministry has taken advantage of fruitful meetings with a group of youth representatives recently to share and discuss ways to restore the tourist movement to Egypt," he said in a statement here, today.
Other than that, he said, the ministry had also received positive reaction from most of the European countries to lift and ease travel warnings to many
areas including the Red Sea and South Sinai and Upper Egypt.
