Embassy of India organizes seminar at Azerbaijan University of Languages

Baku, April 15, AZERTAC

The Embassy of India in Baku in collaboration with the Hindi Language and Culture Center of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) has organized a seminar at the AUL under a project titled “India As It Is”.

AUL Vice-Rector Jala Garibova, Second Secretary of the Embassy of India Ajay Kumar Pandey and Director of the Hindi Language and Culture Center Saida Mirzayeva addressed the opening of the event.

The event was also attended by other senior dignitaries and students of AUL.

During the event, lectures on "India-Azerbaijan Relations", "Philosophy of India", "Philosophy of Karma" were read out.

AUL head lecturer Sevda Abuzarli spoke on Vedas and Upanishads, while Ramil Aliyev explained Karma to the audience.

Director of the Hindi Language and Culture Center Saida Mirzayeva also recited a poem about the richness of Indian culture.

Several Indian and Azerbaijani dances were also performed at the event.

At the end of the session, the Embassy of India distributed certificates to participants as a sign of gratitude and appreciation.
