Eric Ghebal: “Great significance is attached to the quality of drinking water”
Baku, April 12 (AZERTAC). Eric Ghebali, Executive Vice President of Suez Environnement (France) said that great significance is attached to the quality of drinking water.
“Suez Environnement, a company that has been established for more than one hundred years, provides water supply, waste management and water treatment services to many countries worldwide. We are involved in more than two thousand projects around the world. We have more than four hundred scientists in twelve countries engaged in research into water supply and water treatment and the development of special equipment contributing to improved water quality and the latest technological solutions for our industry. One of our most interesting developments is a system for the desalination of the water and production of drinking water from alternative sources and its subsequent delivery to drought areas.”
According to him, Suez Environnement has an office in Azerbaijan. “We cooperate with Azersu in projects in Baku, and with the specialists of this company we have audited the quality of the water in the capital city of Azerbaijan and identified future priorities. Azersu employees had been invited to our facilities in France and Spain, where they learned more about their activities. The "world” of water and the water supply are being improved all the time and these improvements are directly related to innovations in the industry. The current exhibition is clear proof of this. The debut exhibition has made a very good, positive impression. In addition, the exhibition demonstrates the attention paid to this field in Azerbaijan. We have witnessed a positive change in Azerbaijan, in particular in the fact that Azersu seeks to bring the quality of drinking water in Baku up to global standards. The people behind the idea of CATEF 2013 deserve special thanks because the exhibition features the latest technological solutions in the supply of water to people,” the Executive Vice President of Suez Environnement added.
