Event highlighting multiculturalism environment in Azerbaijan held in Italy

An event titled "Prospects of Azerbaijan and Italy in Multiculturalism" has been held at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Italy. The event arranged with joint cooperation of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Ca' Foscari University brought together professor-student staff of the University, as well as Italian researches, and the Media.
Vice-rector of the University Tiziano Lippiello applauded educating Azerbaijani language and culture at the Facility. The Professor highlighted Italian scientists` interests to research Azerbaijani language and culture.
Employee of the Embassy Samir Allahverdiyev said multiculturalism was the priority issues in Azerbaijan, saying representatives of various religions lived in the country in peace and stability over the centuries.
The Diplomat also touched upon ties of both countries in the field of education, spoke about the visit of the country`s Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov to Italy. "This visit opened new opportunities for boosting cooperation and contributed to establishing the close ties between the universities." He said.
The event heard reports by Director of Social Philosophy and Law Institute, Professor Ilham Memmedzade, Associate professor at Ca' Foscari University Giampiero Bellingeri, Professor of the University on Caucasus Aldo Ferrari, Researcher of ANAS Zemfira Mammadzade.
