FAMOUS INDIAN DANCER VISITED BAKU

On the initiative of the embassy of India in Baku and Baku Mayoral, the famous Indian dancer Shanta Rati Misra gave concerts at the Rashid Behbudov Song Theatre.

Before the concert, the audience was addressed by the ambassador of India to Azerbaijan Jyote Svarup Pande, minister of culture of Azerbaijan Polad Bulbuloglu, head of the cultured department of Baku Mayor Hasanaga Gurbanov, who presented her as an outstanding representative of Indian culture. She successfully has participated at numerous festivals, demonstrated her dances in Australia, Iraq, Russia, Malaysia, Singapore and the United States.
