FIDE signs contract with All India Chess Federation for 2022 Chess Olympiad

During a public act hosted in Delhi, the International Chess Federation (FIDE) President Arkady Dvorkovich officially signed the contract for India to organize the FIDE Chess Olympiad 2022, according to the FIDE official website.
The 44th FIDE Chess Olympiad will take place from 28 July 2022 to 14 August 2022 in Chennai, India, Over 2000 participants will battle it out for the top prize in the competition.
The prestigious competition, which has been organized since 1927, will be held in India for the first time and in Asia after 30 years.
