A solemn meeting dedicated to the professional holiday of the Azerbaijani firemen and 85th jubilee of the fire safety service, has been held in the office of the State Service for Fire Safety of Binagadi district of Baku.

Speaking at the meeting were Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan General-Colonel Ramil Usubov, Chief of the Main Department of Fire Safety, General-Major of Internal Service Murad Huseynov, Vice-President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh, the Milli Majlis deputy Rafael Huseynov and others. The speakers emphasized that in accordance with the President Heydar Aliyev’s instruction, October 10 has been fixed as a day of firemen’s professional holiday. They also congratulated the representatives of this hard profession, highly appreciated their activity, and expressed confidence that Azerbaijani firemen would continue to worthily cope with their tasks.

In conclusion, on behalf of the meeting participants, an address to the President of Azerbaijan Republic has been read out.

The meeting was attended by Department Chief of the Presidential Administration Fuad Alasgarov.
