FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON BANKING SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT IS TO BE HELD IN BAKU

The first international conference “Development of banking system of Azerbaijan” is to be held between November 12 and 14 in Baku. Announcing about it at the news conference in the Hyatt Regency in Baku, Chairman of the Monitor Board of AtaBank Ahmet Erentok pointed out that representatives of such international financial institutions as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, 15 leading local banks, auditor and insurance companies have been invited to this conference.

The main issues to be discussed at the conference are development of strategy of the banking sector, correspondence of banking legislature with other normative acts, privatization of governmental banks.

The National Bank of Azerbaijan, AtaBank and AtaHolding are among organizers of the conference.
