FLOODS HIT IN NORTH OF INDIA

At least 875 people died during the last week in the result of strong floods in the north of India. The reason of the flood was the overflow of Gang, Ghagra and Tuprtipar rivers in Uttar-Pradesh state. Due to the official data, 2270 settlements are situated on the flooded areas. Military units participate in the operations on rescuing, held in the regions, which suffered from the floods. The natural disaster caused significant damage to the agriculture of this region including cattle breeding.
