FOREIGN MINISTER OF GREAT BRITAIN ARRIVED IN ISTANBUL
On the night of November 21 to 22, foreign minister of Great Britain Jack Straw arrived in Istanbul, where as a result of bomb blasts 27 were killed while about 500 were wounded. Gving an interview at the Ataturk Airport, the Minister condemned the terror acts stressing that it is a crime against the whole civilization, extended to the people of Turkey the condolence of the House of Lords, British government. He also stated the condolence of the US President George Bush and Prime Minister of Greta Britain Tony Blair to the natives and relatives of the dead. Jack Straw said England supports Turkey and his visit is the token of solidarity.
Then, the foreign minister visited consulate of England in Istanbul and familiarized with the scene of explosions.
According to the Kandilli seismological center of Turkey, the blow of the explosions was registered even by seismic devices. They were of 5 magnitude on Richter.
