Barda, October 29, AZERTAC

On October 29, heads of diplomatic corps, ambassadors, military attaches, and heads of representations of international organizations in Azerbaijan have arrived in the city of Barda.

AZERTAC's correspondent, dispatched to the frontline, reports that the diplomats are accompanied by Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the First Vice-President Elchin Amirbayov, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev and others.

The visit aims to acquaint the diplomats and military attaches with the Armenian atrocities - crime scenes of Armenian armed forces’ reckless missile attacks committed against innocent civilians in Barda city on October 27 and October 28.

The foreign diplomats were informed that the aggressor Armenian armed forces continue to subject to intensive artillery fire cities and densely populated areas of Azerbaijan, in grossly violating the norms and principles of international law, the 1949 Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols, the UN Security Council resolutions.

Armenia blatantly violated 10 October Moscow joint statement, 18 October reaffirmed commitments by the mediation efforts of Paris and 24 October meeting in Washington and agreement on implementing the immediate humanitarian ceasefire.
