Mr President,
On behalf of the entire Italian people and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you and the friendly people of Azerbaijan on the Republic Day.
Your last state visit, which I remember very well, once again confirmed the deep friendship between our countries and provided an opportunity to give a new breath to our fruitful and multilateral cooperation. Of course, this cooperation has expanded in many areas that were discussed during your state visit and create conditions for our countries to achieve new results.
I sincerely wish you a speedy signing of a new agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union, which is an important factor in strengthening our ties.
At the same time, I would like to express my deep appreciation for Azerbaijan’s involvement during the emergency in the field of healthcare in Italy and for the support provided. This confirms the intensity and depth of the ties between our peoples.
With a feeling of sincere friendship, I wish you, your wife and all Azerbaijanis happiness and prosperity.
