Staying in Baku Chief of the Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, General of Army Hilmi Ozkek has visited today the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Guiding the General through the Foundation its Executive Director Anar Alakbarov said it was founded in honor of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev in order to popularize his rich heritage providing people with better understanding of how tremendous were the efforts the great leader took to ensure social, economic and cultural progress in Azerbaijan. Here, General Hilmi Ozkek viewed a large number of photos reflecting different periods of Heydar Aliyev’s many-sided activities, and wrote a message in the Guest Book. In the end, on behalf of President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, General Hilmi Ozkek was presented keepsake gifts.
