US President George Bush has proclaimed 9 November as a world Day of Freedom. The White House spread proclamation by the US President says “fourteen years ago, freedom-loving people tore down the Berlin Wall and began to set a nation free from Communist oppression” and that “dismantling of the Berlin Wall reunited Germany and helped spread freedom across Central and Eastern Europe”. President Bush also pointed out that he proclaimed November 9, 2003, as World Freedom by virtue of the authority vested in him by the Constitution and laws of the United States.
