    ‘GERMANY ASSISTS AZERBAIJAN IN JOINING WTO’

    Germany is assisting Azerbaijan it its moves towards joining the World Trade Organization (WTO), representative of the German Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection Rudiger Ohst said.

    He said his country implemented a relevant project together with Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Agriculture this year, and German Technical Cooperation Organization allotted 50,000 euros to the country.

    According to Rudiger Ohst, German experts visited Baku four times to examine whether the country`s phytosanitary and veterinary legislation meets WTO standards.
