Student of the George Washington University, a Mexican, has invented a glove-interpreter. These gloves ‘interpret’ move of the hands of the deaf-and-dumb to ordinary speaking language. The glove-mounted transmitters register move of the fingers and convey the information to the computer. Then, a special program provider transforms the gestures to words and sends them to display. In this way, gestures of the deaf-and-dumb are ‘translated’ into the ordinary speaking language.
