Georgia starts using coronavirus medicine “Paxlovid”

According to the Georgian Deputy Minister of Health, Tamar Gabunia, Georgia has started using coronavirus medicine “Paxlovid”, and already a few patients are being treated with the medicine, according to Georgia Today.

“Last week we started using Coronavirus treatment drug “Paxlovid” in Georgia. A family doctor will prescribe this medication after assessing the patient’s health. The protocol sets out criteria to avoid predictive risks,” said Gabunia.
