Georgian PM: Azerbaijan is an important strategic partner for Georgia

Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has hailed his country`s relations with Azerbaijan. In an interview with journalists, he described the nature of Georgian-Azerbaijani ties as strategic. He said the two countries enjoy dynamically developing relations in all areas. “Azerbaijan is a very important strategic partner for Georgia,” Kvirikashvili said.
He also touched upon the implementation of regional projects. Kvirikashvili said Georgia and Azerbaijan maintain good cooperation in security and other fields.
The Georgian PM also emphasized the necessity of reviving the New Silk Road, which, he said, represents a vital importance not only to the two countries, but also to the entire region.
