Georgian PM: TANAP is the most important energy transportation project

Baku, December 1, AZERTAC

“From the point of view of energy transportation, this project is the most important, therefore it attaches even greater importance to the transit function of Georgia,” Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said at the launch of the TANAP Phase 1 pipeline held in Turkish Edirne on the border with Greece.

“We all well understand how important it is that our country serves as a bridge not only in terms of economy, politics and culture but also energy, as the most important challenge for our government is rapid economic growth, new jobs and the country's security,” Gakharia added.
