Georgian President visits Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Baku, March 6 (AZERTAC). President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili has today visited the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Mikheil Saakashvili was welcomed here by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The Georgian President was informed on the activity of the Foundation.

The President of Georgia was told the main goal of the Foundation is to study and popularize prominent political figure Heydar Aliyev`s rich heritage, and assist projects promoting the country`s history and culture.

The Georgian President saw exhibits from the archive of the great leader and pictures depicting various moments of his life.

The Georgian President was handed over a keepsake.

Mikheil Saakashvili signed the Foundation`s guest book.
