Granada turn back to Lucas Alcaraz

Baku, October 4, AZERTAC

Paco Jemez lasted just six games at Granada and the LaLiga club have already turned to Lucas Alcaraz as the Canarian's replacement, according to Marca.

Almost signing up as Elche boss in the summer, Alcaraz returns to the Nazaries having taken charge for the final six months of the 2013/14 season, finishing 15th in the top-flight.

Now locked into a deal until the end of the season, the 50-year-old will take his first training session on Tuesday morning before facing the media at 12:30 CET.

"Granada CF have reached an agreement with Lucas Alcaraz, who will become the new first team manager until the end of the current season," read a club statement.
