According to director of the American program on coordinating the links between schools, head of the “Harmony Project” Baku office Kerri Kosbi, for the last two years computer internet-centers at the cost of over USD 18 thousand have been organized in 25 schools of 7 districts.
K. Kosbi noted that “Harmony Project” was implementing the program of computerization of secondary schools of Azerbaijan and had organized trainings on raising professional skills of the teaching staff. “Due to “Project Harmony” activities of over 10 thousand Azerbaijani citizens have had an access to Internet ”, said K. Kosbi, commenting on the goals of the organization.
This year, 25 computer centers are expected to open in provinces. At the same time, two employees of each center are paid salaries through “Harmony Project” channels.
